Researched camera systems and this seemed to tick all my requirements.
It arrived well packaged, quickly and complete, including the two corner mounting brackets bought separately and the 10" monitor and SmartTrack Card E30 which was included with the deal.
All the parts required came with the system, including screws, Rawlplugs and brackets.
All the contents looked in perfect condition and Installing the system was simple after reading the instruction booklet.
I chose the 4 camera locations, none of which exceeded the 19 meter cable lengths away from the NVR. Mounting and wiring them is easy, just use the templates included for the mounting screws and push the RJ45 type connectors with the supplied water tight glands into the camera. Tighten the glands hand tight and feed the cables into the house and plug into the back of the NVR.
Plugged the NVR into my home router and connected the power supplies to the NVR and 10" monitor base, I also connected the supplied wired mouse and a wireless HDMI transmitter to the NVR (purchased separately) as I want to have the cameras displayed in three other locations.
Once I checked the connections I switched it on.
I followed the instructions displayed on the monitor and after some time during which the NVR and each camera in turn went through a software update, I had good quality pictures displayed on the screen.
Now for the additional features, so far I have adjusted the camera positions remotely using the mouse and fitted all eight images to a 27" monitor screen, which I purchased separately.
Now I need to read the software instructions to include some of the additional functions, sound, speech, tracking discrimination etc to complete the installation.
So far I'm very happy with the system, it's taken about 12 hours to get this far, a lot of that was drilling holes through walls, ceilings and floor joists and installing cable ducting. The installation and initial setup was user friendly and simple. The included instructions clear, concise, short and easy to read. The picture quality is very good in the daylight and good (black and white) in the dark.
