eufy Doorbell E340 & eufycam C37

I'll start off with the good. The C37 camera is great. I have it screwed to my fence pointing at my back gate. It is mainly to record the wildlife that comes into the garden. It is pretty good at that, but I have seen it sometimes doesn't recognise/track a cat or even a fox now and then. It is good at recognising people and tracks me well.
The solar panel is great, it has consistently keeps the camera at 100% this summer. I'll have to see how it does in the winter.
The bad is the E340 doorbell. The first one was faulty and wouldn't connect to the homebase. It was replaced within a few days and now it connects (Eufy customer service was good). The doorbell itself is good; the video is clear, the recordings are good quality and installation was easy. But it's not recording when someone walks into the activity zone. I have another camera which triggers everytime when someone walks into the same activity zone but the doorbell does nothing. And it takes over a minute for the doorbell notification to get to my phone when it does trigger. The parcel detection keeps pinging to say a pacel has been delivered and picked up when nothing has been delivered. I'm not sure what it is recognising as a parcel and then seeing as being picked up.
It is quite frustrating. Also, your phone won't ring if someone presses the doorbell, it seems quite obvious now but something to note.
