Very pleased

Replaced older version with minor problems we were experiencing ,may gave been able to solve but hey ho ,,,,upgraded instead sweet as a nut and easier all round to do certainly an advancement. Pleased we did

Great doorbell camera

I’ve been very impressed with this Eufy doorbell camera so far. It arrived on time, was easy to set up, and the video quality and features have been excellent.

The app is generally straightforward to use, and the notifications are reliable. However, I have noticed an occasional issue where the day’s events don’t load properly in the app. When this happens, I need to completely close and reopen the app a few times before the event history appears again.

Despite this minor inconvenience, the doorbell itself performs very well, and I’m pleased with my purchase overall.

Installation very easy as I have a previous version. Surprised however to see the re-design in that the SD memory card is now situated in the Bell push unit and not in the chime as the bell push could be ripped off the door by a nefarious individual.

Good quality product, easy to install

Purchased after recommendation and not disappointed.
Delivery was quick with good communication and fixing, set up very easy to follow steps.

Some annoyances, but working well once set up

Getting this set up involved some challenges!

First, in common with many people, I have a uPVC front door frame - so drilling into it isn't a good idea. That's why I opted for a battery bell. But unlike most such devices, it doesn't come with a way of fitting without screws - the provided backplate has raised screw holes and so presents insufficient flat surface to use double-sided tape. That meant a delay while I found a suitable 'converter' and waited for it to arrive.

Then I had some connectivity issues. After a while I realised that this was down to the doorbell picking up signal from a wifi booster two floors up instead of from the main router 10 metres away! That meant slower wifi and video not loading. Changing router settings to force the bell onto the main router sorted that out.

Once set up, though, it seems to be working well.
