I bought a £650 voucher for £500, then waited for Black Friday sale, so ended up getting this Camera set for a real bargain price. It arrived quickly, and so far I have placed the cameras in temporary locations as it is too cold and wet to install them in their final positions. One is indoors and the other is in in my greenhouse.
Not too surprisingly there has been no solar charging on either as there has been no sun and both are inside glass. That said the battery levels after 2 weeks are pretty good (94% & 85%). The 85% has had nearly 600 events and nearly 500 recordings, so 7.5% per week is reasonable, especially since I have been logging into live view a lot, mainly due to the novelty factor of this new camera system.
The facial recognition is good, but not perfect. If it doubt it seems to say the person is my wife, but hopefully this will improve as time goes on. It would be good if there were instructions on how to "teach" the AI faces, but all in all it's good.
The camera recordings are extremely high quality, as you would expect from 4K, and I will be interested to see how the solar panel performs once the worst of winter is past. I am confident that the "Forever Power" will happen when the cameras are mounted outdoors, but time will tell.
My main concern is that the batteries are not replaceable, and no matter how good the battery is it's power will diminish over time. My guess is that an exhausted battery will be what ends the life of the cams, let's just hope that this doesn't happen for several years. Other than that all good. The HomeBase is good, with the added 1 TB HDD it should last for ages, and who needs to keep security clips for more than a few weeks anyway. Mine is permanently connected by ethernet, and the range is surprisingly good. HB is at the front of my house and the furthest camera is in my greenhouse at the back of the garden and I had no problem connecting.
All in all a great product, and would buy again, but only with an offer or during a sale, or preferably both :-)
Took time to review what was available following a quote of £2500 for replacement cameras. Took the decision following so many positive reviews to purchase. Delivery was tracked throughout and delivered without damage.
Quality products within the boxes with all the items to install. Connection to the broadband was easily explained in a step by step guide and it took less than an hour fixing the cameras into place. Picture quality superb, use of tablet/phone functions very easy and I have happily recommended the system both to friends and my 83 year old mother that wants the security. In her case the share option is a winner as she knows she is protected as well as someone within the family can support or interact with the system removing the stress from herself. Overall spend was £700 with 2 wireless cameras and a S340 camera for the front of the house which covers all of the house saving £1800 from the original quote. I will be adding to the system due to the quality and the value of the products.
Installation went well, and all appeared fine - cameras and alerts all good. When hard drive was formatted that appeared to work too. Then about two days later hard drive said that it needed to be formatted! This time it reported a formatting failure, said that there was a hardware problem with the hard drive, and that it needed to be replaced. I have tried several times to contact eufy using the support line, and have been unable to reach a human to request replacement of my 1Tb hard drive.

Battery life in current winter weather is poor. The cameras have been in use for about a week and both are now offline due to low battery, which means getting up a ladder to remove them and charge them repeatedly.
Also struggling to get the floodlights to come on when I want as they do not seem to trigger in the dark when I walk in front of them.
Initial setup was easy enough and the video quality is good but overall I’m disappointed more than happy, mainly because of the battery life.
