High quality materials and software - and very adaptable.

This security product is well designed and relatively easy to set up and get going. The kit is comprehensive with a base-station, two cameras, two 2-part wall-mounts, power adapter, three cables and wall-fixings.Setting up is explained and illustrated clearly in the User Guide (downloadable from the web page under the heading "Safety Documents"). An essential app is downloadable which works with the User Guide to step through each phase of the setup process. Setup uses scannable QR codes in the guide and on the three devices to confirm each step. The process does require the base station via an ethernet cable (supplied) to be connected to a home broadband router for initial connection. After that a wireless WiFi connection can be used so that the base station can be positioned anywhere there's a strong enough WiFi signal. The phone app will even test the signal strength in your chosen location before committing to it. I achieved watchable results from the cameras on my smartphone within an hour and a half. The wide angle camera images are very high quality, in colour (even at night) and well lit. Positioning the camera is recommended at up to 2 metres high which allows for recognition of faces and clothing, among other things. The software allows me to store photos of family and friends which the software can identify for me when it sends an alert.Alerts and notifications are very adaptable, allowing me to set the system up in a way that suits my preferences and my environment. The cameras have both light and sound alarms built in if needed. They also have microphones and speakers for two-way communication with strangers at the door.I like the fact that I can use the full functions of the system without having to pay any ongoing subscription fees. Additional cloud storage is available at a cost but, by using a large capacity micro-SD card in the base station, I can store all the video footage I need without any regular payments. The cameras are IP67 protected against ingress of water and dust - a high standard. The HomeBase Mini base-station requires a power connectio at all times, but the cameras have rechargeable batteries built in. Eufy solar panels are available at extra cost to provide constant power to the cameras, but if the cameras are installed at head height it's easy to take them down and recharge them with the supplied charger and cable. The software will alert you when they need charging. The product is fully CE marked to confirm it has been tested to comply with UK and European standards. For a penny under £170 I think this system is good value, is well made and convenient to use.

Beats my ring camera

I went for the eufyCam C35 two-camera kit and it’s been a rock solid upgrade. The magnetic mounts make installation feel like sticking fridge magnets to a wall, and the cameras snap into place with a satisfying click. The colour night vision is crisp, even on those foggy British evenings when everything looks like a detective show.Local storage is the real winner here. No subscription traps, no “pay monthly to see your own garden” nonsense. Facial recognition has been accurate enough to tell me if it’s a delivery driver or just my own half-asleep face popping out for the bins. Battery life has been healthy too, and they’re solar-friendly if you want to go fully low-maintenance.

and easy-to-use home security system

This wireless camera kit offers simple installation and clear, detailed video both day and night. The magnetic mounts make it easy to position the cameras anywhere, whether indoors or outdoors, and the build feels sturdy with an IP67 waterproof rating. The picture quality is sharp, and the colour night vision works surprisingly well without needing extra lighting. Notifications arrive quickly thanks to smart AI detection that recognises people, pets, and vehicles accurately. The ability to store recordings locally without a monthly fee is a major advantage, and the option to expand storage with a microSD card keeps things flexible. The connection through 2.4GHz WiFi is stable, and the app is intuitive, allowing quick access to live feeds and settings. A smart, no-subscription solution for keeping your property secure.

2 CAM SYSTEM

I grabbed this to install at my grandparents house as we warned to be able to keep an eye on them and make sure that there is no people trying to take any advantage of them at the door. We opted to install one at the front of there house and also in the back garden. The aim was for two reasons - 1 to make sure they are safe as my grandmother seems to be prone to falling at the moment and also to be able to detect any motion and also as a safety security. I am able to control via the app and with the 2 way audio both speak to them and any potential trespassers and also have the playback footage. This can be stored on both the app and the included home storage system which is great! Super simple to setup, arrived in very premium packaging and set at a fantastic price point! Bargain :)

Great cameras that give you a lot of piece of mind!

The eufy Security C35 Cam Kit has been amazing! Its a Wireless Security Indoor/Outdoor Camera. Meaning I can place the camera wherever I need in and out of my home and not be tied down by wires. On the app you can see in real time the charge on each camera. Which is useful for checking to see when the cameras are getting low. The cameras were quick to charge up to a full battery. The magnetic mount is awesome! Once placed on to a metal surface it is super secure. The cameras also comes with a fixable mount which is easy to fit and has a sliding clip in order to make removing and replacing the camera super easy. The night vision is clear as well as the color day vision. It connects to the app really easily, making for a quick set up.Once on the app you can zoom into footage, speak and even sound an alarm (with light) to warn off intruders. I personally enjoy the ability to speak over the camera as I use the cameras indoors to keep an eye on my cats and often speak to them throughout the day/night when I am away from the house. One massive benefit is there is No Monthly Fee! The cameras have Facial Recognition and motion detection which sends notifications to your app when flagged up which is very handy to check. The cameras are small and discreet making them less inconspicuous. They come with the option of connecting to the WiFi or connecting to a hub which is set up through a LAN port. The only downsides I have for these cameras are; they have a slight delay but the image is still crystal clear so I am happy. As well they are slightly stiff to fix to the initial mount the one that connects the camera to the mount for the wall and magnet but once on it is super secure.Overall, I am so pleased with the cameras and they have brought fantastic peace of mind. I throughly recommend these to anyone looking to for security for there home.

Customer Review
Works well, easy setup, budget but nice quality.

I really like Eufy kit, its built well and works well.I'm a little annoyed with this one as I checked the compatibility lists for the various camera support and homebase units and there was no such compatibilty with the Homebase 380 which I have some never bothered tryhign to connect it to my setup. Yet this one says it is compatible in one of the pull down FAQ'sAs with most of thier kit to work at its best it needs a homebase, this kit has its own Homebase Mini, and as mentioned it is also possible to connect to an existing setup through the Homebase 380 which has storage capability into the terabytes. The Homebase mini here comes with 8GB built in and is expandable through a micro SD cards. It is expandable to 1TB, the cameras themselves are expandable too, up to 256GB.The cameras are pretty dinky but well built, rubber covers seal the unit from the elements if you wanted to put them outside too. There is several types of mounts that can be used also, screw fitments, magnetic connections or just sitting on a bookshelf all work.I'm a little confused as all the existing reviews listed under the C35 camera and Homebase mini are for the 2 or 2C cameras with the homebase 2 or 3, not the C35 cameras and homebase mini. The video footage is stored as MP4 files and the quality is very good.Several security modes can be enabled that could produce a light upon detection, or an sound/alam, you can also converse with whom ever tripped the sensors.I use the advanced AI features on my 2C Pro's and S340's and they work pretty well, human, pet and car detection for movement etc.The units is a budget two camera setup and frankly it does a good job, the video isnt quite up to the quality of mine but its also a fraction of the cost at £129.99There are a multitude of other features such as cross camera tracking for example. But if you are looking for a budget setup with a lot of great features, then you'll be hard pressed to find a better solution in this price band without a subscription which for me, is a massive consideration.

System just works and if you have the right Eufy doorbell that can also use the Homebase mini

First off, battery times I can not yet comment on as Amazon Vine reviews must be submitted within 30 days. Trying to pin down how long the cameras should go between charges has proven difficult. What I do know is one has been in use for a week with lots of false alerts as I set it up and got the positioning right. It presently is on 76%. The second one I set up then turned off as I needed to drill holes for it's mounting (the former is using the magnet in the mounting bracket). That is showing 74%, which is odd as it is meant to have been in a dormant state for 6 days. Net thing is it looks like I should get a month with the only downside being the need to take the cameras down to recharge them (and then have to mess around with positioning to get the motion detection zones aligned correctly). The software is good once you are used to it, but the mechanism for adjusting the motion detection zones is frankly terrible. Most the time to press on one of the hotspots to move a line it instead moves the zone, which is shrunken when pushed in to a frame edge. If you have a mobile phone screen pad on the end of a pen, use that. Alas for me i do not.Setting everything up, aside from the motion detection zones, was a breeze. If you also have a door bell or other camera that the Homebase mini hub supports then you can allocate them to it. I have an E340 doorbell which is supported so I moved it from an Eufy Chime to the Homebase mini. Only catch, and a really annoying one, it can not just be moved across. You need to add it to the hub, at which point it is removed from the chime, then you have to set it up again. I was not happy, but at least I now have all three devices (there two cameras and my existing doorbell) connected through the hub. Apparently I can also add the chime and may do this as an additional alerting device. One downside to the way all these systems work is you need an active Internet connection. Now without one the hub will record and store video (for which you should purchase a mini-SD card as there is not much space on the Homebase Mini), however to view it you still have to use the Eufy phone/tablet app and connect their own servers. At least with Anker/Eufy you know it is a large company that is not suddenly going to disappear. Some of the marketing blurb does talk about direct connections, but I tried connecting to the cameras with my router down and failed. You can connect the app directly to the cameras rather than through the hub, perhaps there is something that way.Video quality has been good, not sure if it is any worse than my door bell considering that has a 2K camera and these are just HD.Time will tell over battery life and I may/will update here once I know more.

Incredible and versatile camera system

So in my house I have security cameras from multiple systems - Canary, eBitcam, Blink, Ring, Xiaomi, and I'm sure I've missed out others. Most of them work with Alexa to varying degrees of success, but they all use different apps, so I have can't see what is happening in my home in an "all in one" view.So I wanted to consolidate into one (or as close to one) system, I was looking at the eufy architecture anyway (its the no monthly fee that does it for me), when Vine dropped me this C35 2-camera kit.It arrived in a small box, which had me worried, but, it was fine, inside were the two cameras, homebase, and other gubbins, including mounts and things.I won't bore you with the details, but this set was SO simple to set up, I suppose it helps if you've dealt with similar before, but read the instructions, watch some YouTube videos and you should be golden. It really is simple to set up.Footage from indoors is crystal clear on my phone, when using mobile data. My other cameras, the footage or live view is a bit fuzzy, its clear enough for faces and other details, but not on the same level as I was getting out of the eufy cameras. Now, the only outside camera I have is the Ring doorbell, it's fine in bright light, fantastic even, but at night time the footage and live view is awful. Grainy and lacks anything close to detail. Not so with the eufy. Yes, sure it's not a doorbell, but the outdoor images I was getting in day time and also at night were fantastic. Like it is clear.Apart from the image quality, the best thing is that it is subscription free. Yes, eufy do provide cloud storage at cost, BUT, you don't have to have this. HOWEVER, it does mean you'll need to invest in SD cards and the like if you want additional storage. This is a great setup, easy to install, easy to connect to, and I am in the process of swapping out all my cameras for eufys.
