eufy NVR Security System S4 Max

Have had them for about 2 weeks and the video quality is amazing

Speedy delivery well packaged and all appear undamaged. Not ready to fully install as some cable runs exceed the supplied Ethernet cables but set up system to check all worked with one camera. Set up procedure easy to follow but did have trouble scanning QR code on the side of NVR unit but had seen YouTube vlogs highlighting this problem. Resulted to manual installation but serial very difficult to read from QR code. Eventually app loaded and part set up so hopefully all will be well when final installation is complete.

just installed a system S4 plus an additional indoor camera. Cameras are all wired direct to the control unit. The supplied wiring for each camera was long enough to reach the control unit even when clipped to joists etc. there are lots of choices to make when setting them up and although its all working fine I still need to make changes to each camera to optimise the security coverage. It’s a very comprehensive package and will meet my needs once all settings are perfected. A good quality package backed up with great aftersales service. Would recommend to anyone thinking of investing in property security.

This system is almost perfect.
The cameras do track and zoom in on the individual spotted as advertised, and the fixed camera still captures the wider image.
Notificaations sent and everything.

The only thing I would call out is te fact that this NVR System doesn,t support Cloud Backups, so if it were the perpetrator to get hold of the NVR the footage-evidence is also gone.

Appart from that it has some nice festures, I set up one of the cameras that when a human is detected it turns its lights on, The camera acts as an exterior light as well in this respect.

NVR Security system S4 Max. Very easy to install and set up. Excellent picture quality both day & night. AI and dynamic tracking is phenomenal for a system at this price point. Had the system nearly 4 weeks and working flawlessly.

I was a little unsure whether I should give the Eufy system 4 stars or 5, but in the end I picked 5. Its really a very good system. The best feature is that it has cameras with two separate sets of lenses, one for wide angle that cover the whole area at once and the other to zoom in on things that are caught. The two work together to catch everything that happens and create a log.The system also has quite good face recognition and inter-cameera tracking so that an easily reviewed event log tells you quickly about everyone who has been around. You can save friendly faces in the system so that it can weed ouyt strangers.The other nice thing is that it logs everything locally on a server, and also backs it up in the cloud. The best of both worlds. The cloud backup is not overpriced, and also optional. Great.The downside with this system was that I had to wire everything up with ethernet cable, which was fine of course because I wanted powered cameras. I can add wireless ones as well if I want. The only issue with that was that it wouldn't let me connect the ethernet switch back to the server wirelessly. I would have liked to have had that feature, but its a minor point. The system as a whole is good and the wired cameras work well.

We purchased the system to secure the perimeter of our property and much better than what we expected. Easy to install and everything you need in the box. Would recommend purchasing.

I've been waiting for a NVR solution for some time, and decided to go with Eufy, due to the AI capabilities and the dual camera approach on each Camera.I've had this in place for a few weeks now and found that this ticks most of the boxes I was looking for.Strengths:Audio control detection and two way conversation is goodNight Vision Is strongPeople detection and Tracking is GoodFace recognition is good (assuming you keep on top of it and keep training)IssuesThe cameras are not IP cameras, so cannot today just plug in to your network - they must be connected to the NVR - that can we over a dedicated PoE SwitchSome detections are questionable - but can be trained outOverall. Very happy and I recommend this solution.
