Made my life so much easier
Made my life so much easier
This is undoubtedly one of the top robot vacuums I've ordered. It has strong suction power, and while it is slightly louder, its speed and effectiveness make up for it. I've previously used Eufy products, and they've all been of excellent quality. I would certainly recommend this one.
Love this but takes a little while to fathom all the parts. Unfortunately this model does not wet mop as I made a mistake and ordered the wrong model. Saves a lot of effort for anyone like me with back pain.
So pleased with my new robot vacuum. I’ve had one previously but the new one is so much better. Super easy to set up and self emptying is really impressive. App fairly easy to use and mapping done with ease. So far so good, we’ve had this product a short while and love it. Highly recommend.
Very good product. Easy to use. Very helpful, mechanical very awesome. Greatest product
A very clever piece of kit, ideal for those who don’t have the time or inclination to give their floors a regular going over with a vacuum cleaner. All necessary items are included in the box, all you need in addition is a good WiFi signal and a mobile phone or a tablet. This 3-in-1 robot vacuum cleaner automatically cleans the main floor areas of your home (once set-up) then, you can finish the job manually by detaching the handheld vacuum from the robot and either using it as is or attaching the stick accessory to clean your stairs and the corners of your rooms. The robot can clean carpeted floors, laminate flooring or tiles and will self adjust its brushes to suit. When setting up the robot you first need to download and install the free “eufy clean” app. (Android and iOS versions are available) then fully charge the robots battery in order to activate it. On first use the robot maps out the area to be vacuumed, make sure that there are no loose objects on the floor which could get sucked up or tangled in the brushes of the robot (our cat loves playing with hairbands and leaves them lying around everywhere). You may want to restrict the area to be cleaned, for instance by closing doors to stairs or different rooms. Once set-up the robot will clean the mapped out area either on command, by using the app, or at preset times which you set in the app.The noise levels of both the robot and the handheld/stick vacuum are surprisingly low whilst the suction is exceptionally good. The best bit of all, for me, was that once the robot returns to its base, if it detects dust/fluff in its dust collection cannister it will reverse back out of the station, do a 180 degree rotation, go back into the station and proceed to empty the contents into the dustbag in the stations bin. There are 2 things that I’m not so keen on and they are, 1) the slightly annoying robotic voice which tells you what is happening and, 2) the fact that the charging station needs to be constantly connected to the mains electricity.Overall, a fascinating, if rather expensive, piece of technology. However, if you do get one you’ll probably love it!
Most importantly the Eufy E20 3-in-1 vacuum does a tremendous job of cleaning our floors. It transitions seamlessly between carpets, laminate and vinyl flooring by itself with no difficulty. On taking it out of the box, it's quite intuitive to put together and to start it cleaning. The vacuum charges quickly. There's a quick summary user guide on a large sheet of card included, which tells you all the main steps for each of the uses and functions - it's very clear, with images, however some of the writing is very tiny (in very large spaces, where there's plenty of room for larger writing - accessibility?). We have also kept the factory 'sticker' on the 3 buttons on top of the robot for now as it's difficult without the sticker to identify which button is which. However with extremely little effort, having first left it to charge, our Eufy was happily tootling around cleaning the whole of our downstairs. For the first trial run, I watched it for a while until I felt confident to upstairs to read a book whilst it cleaned, which was lovely. It's also perfectly happy to clean around people moving around the home. There are so many useful features:-- A child lock setting (by pressing the 'home' and 'start' buttons together for 3 secs)- A pause button and another to send the robot back to it's base- 4 power levels: Eco, standard, turbo and maximum- Handheld and stick vacuum functions- The Vacuum functions extremely effectively even without the app- Auto emptying into a dust bag within the charging station- 5-stage particle filtrationThe function to switch to a stick cleaner is amazing - I haven't come across a robot vacuum which does this before. Thus I'd say (at last!) that you have no need for an additional vacuum as this one can access all areas - this is apparently a world first. The stick part can be stored against a wall using the bracket included, either fixed with wall screws or using the adhesive backing to attach to a smooth or tiled surface. I'd find it useful if I could clip the stick cleaner onto the main charging unit, to keep everything neatly stored together. The stick cleaner can also be used to reach up & 'catch' cobwebs, which a robot vacuum alone wouldn't be able to clean - very useful. The robot vacuum is happy to glide onto rugs and to clean those too, apparently it will avoid objects greater than 1.5cm tall or 2.5cm tall (1") on carpets. I find myself clearing the floor space of obstacles (aka clutter!), in order for it to clean as much of the floor as possible (good habits!), and for it to be able to fit through as many gaps as possible. It will happily clean around any items which haven't been cleared, which would be useful for children's toys. The vacuum is, for a robot vacuum, a very good size - quite compact and not too large, even the base unit, and it's flat enough to pass beneath coffee tables and some settees, although there are some gaps it won't fit through - for these, there's the stick cleaner. I haven't noticed it struggling to clean edges, perhaps because the brush protrudes to one side. It struggles a little with trailing cables, so it's always helpful to remove those, and is allergic to spilt water as you'd expect, so you need to remember to ensure bathroom floors are dry first or to set those as areas for it to avoid. The 'commentary voice' is pleasant, quite relaxed and not too loud. It did say something after one return to its charging station which I didn't hear; perhaps a visual display might be helpful although I don't know how much extra this would cost. The cleaning volume varies according to the power mode, but is generally reasonably quiet, and significantly less noisy than a traditional vacuum cleaner.Using the app, you can see a map of your home, select specific areas or rooms to be cleaned or set no-go areas and select different types of carpet settings for different rooms. Whilst the robot cleaner is mapping the area you can put physical barriers in place for areas you don't want it to enter, thus you can prevent it in future from falling downstairs by initially placing a physical barrier at the top of the stairs. You can also set specific times, days & frequencies in advance when you'd like it to clean (although be aware of setting of house alarms if out/at night).I love the convenience and cleanliness of being able to clean at any time, when it needs doing, without worrying about whether I have the time or energy. As I'm physically disabled this makes a tremendous difference to me, and means that it quite quickly pays for itself and is well worth the financial outlay. The filter can be cleaned with tap water, however it's recommended to change it every 6 months; as far as I can see at the moment the cost of a replacement filter is around £10. The vacuum bag and brush also need replacing when full/worn (both inexpensive). I'm really pleased that our home looks and feels cleaner when it's been cleaned by our Eufy E20. We would, all 3...
This vacuum has been super convenient! The robot does a great job of navigating around furniture and picking up everyday dust and pet hair, and the suction is surprisingly strong. Having the option to use it as a handheld or stick vacuum is a nice bonus for quick cleanups. The auto-emptying feature is a lifesaver, though the bin still needs emptying now and then. It’s not a full replacement for deep cleaning, but for daily maintenance, it works really well. Definitely a solid choice if you want an all-in-one solution! Would totally recommend to my friends and family.
This Eufy 3-in-1 E20 Robot Vacuum is excellent; as soon as you take it out of the box, you can see the build quality. It’s straightforward to set up (even for a technophobe like me) and mapped the downstairs of my house quickly and accurately. It makes a really good job of picking up all the dust and bits on my carpet, cushion flooring, and laminate (and isn’t overly noisy).I particularly like how easy it is to transform into a handheld/stick vac. I wasn’t expecting the suction/pick-up to be great in stick mode, but it’s actually pretty impressive; it’s lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. The unit can be emptied at the dock/empty station or manually (emptying manually is much quicker). It’s a brilliant piece of kit, perfect for a busy household, and especially good for a larger open-plan house.I think it offers good value for money and I’m more than happy to recommend.Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope you found it helpful.
