Eufy Simple Chime

Brilliant little device, discrete and loud just what was needed use on max volume 10 so is audible from garden.
Expensive for what it is, but if it lasts and continues to work then well worth the extra £££££.

Small Unit BIG sound

Excellent little unit. Set up was easy, WiFi finds device and pairs with Doorbell almost instantly.
LOUD can be adjusted with several ring tones.
PERFECT!

A good addition to the door bell

As my Alexa app just about refused to work with the Eufy doorbell, I Decided to get the chime. Works a treat! Certainly better than trying to rely on the stupid Alexa app to work

The Chimes Great But...

After buying 8 security cameras, the video doorbell and HomeBase3 to control them, all was good for a few weeks. Then I noticed the storage was almost full on the HB3. After clearing the storage several times during the previous two weeks via the app it suddenly wouldn't clear. I Tried a few times over a couple of days but I still couldn't delete it. So I had to restart the device as it was almost out of storage space. This cleared the storage but I now have to go through the absolute FAFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF of reconnecting all the cameras, doorbell & chime back to the HB3. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but of course the cameras are positioned outside on front/side/rear of the house so I've got to get the ladders out, climb up with my phone then scan the barcode at back of the camaras!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A FAFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!! I Am REALLY ANNOYED!!!! On doing some research on how to clear the storage on the HB3 I saw posts from 2020 about the exact same problem on earlier models-6 years ago!!! And you'd of thought Eufy would of put the QR for the camera on a seperate printed piece of paper inside the box just in case this situation arises.
Such a shame, everything was going so well. Now I am going to have a night without any camera security as its early evening and I can't get the ladder out till tomorrow. I'll say it again WHAT A FAFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!
