Upgraded from the s340 , difference is amazing in resolution and video quality, once again easy setup , adding to the Eufy app and going into the settings it’s a breeze to sort our prefect settings.

The S4 tick all the boxes for me and had it for two weeks now and it has be flawless.
I’m already considering of swapping all my camera’s to the S4 unit.

Great camera but eats through battery without constant sunlight as said at least 2hrs/day!

Have 4 Eufy Camera's inc the Homebase. This Was An Upgrade To One Of My Front Cameras. It was a Logical Replacement to the Front Of The House Because Of The Extra Bullet Camera Built If For continuous Forward Facing Coverage While The Bottom Camera Can Still Pan & Tilt. It Replaces The Eufy SoloCam S340 with Is Now Added To The Rear Of The Property For Extra Coverage. Great Upgrade, Can Totally Recommend. The Dual cameras makes much more sense at The Front Of The House to track movement and static objects at the same time. Can’t fault the item so far.

This did take some time to set up, and that's mainly because these security cameras are new to me. The quality of the camera is amazing. I've never used anything 4K, but this must be it since it looks a lot better than my 2k monitor. With the solar panel, I never have to worry about it turning off. The tracking system is very smart, and the same goes for the auto-zoom that works when people walk closer to the camera. This comes with 32 GB storage, but more can be added via microSD. The quality of this is beyond what I'm used to, so this is great value.

There seemed to have been slight misinformation with regards to lunch dates but finally my camera arrived, it's a solid piece of kit with excellent night time full colour vision.
Iv opted to hard wire my camera so I can take advantage of the 24/7 continuous recording which is saved on a 2TB SSD.
In my opinion you would be hard pressed to find a better camera that offers all the features the S4 has

The eufyCam S4 comes boxed with everything you need to get the security camera up and running: S4 camera unit; wall mount; fittings; solar panel; battery; a robust solar-panel-to-camera cable; security sign and stickers; user manual. The S4 features three cameras: a fixed 4K bullet cam and beneath that a turret with two 2K PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) cams.Set up is easy: there's no need to hard-wire the S4 to mains electricity. The unit is fully solar powered. Its solar panel and built-in battery are highly efficient, ensuring that the cam remains operational night and day even in winter when there aren't many hours of daylight per day. I recommend positioning the solar panel where it can absorb the maximum amount of available sunlight (which may not necessarily be right on top of the camera).The S4 is compatible with eufy's HomeBase S380 hub (which is not included). The eufyCam S4 doesn't rely on a HomeBase S380 in order to operate, though. It can be wirelessly synced to smartphone via the eufy mobile app. At the moment there is no desktop app for the brand's security cameras, so in order to use a laptop or PC to access your eufyCam S4 you'll need to log into eufy's web portal, which offers live viewing of cam footage and access to an event log but doesn't support direct playback of local video recordings, and doesn't support the advanced camera-management features which are available via the eufy mobile app. The highest level of S4 functionality can be achieved by connecting the camera to a HomeBase S380 unit, which delivers additional options such as massively expanded capacity for locally storing all video footage. The S4 camera unit itself offers some local storage via its built-in TF card slot.The S4 is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It requires no paid subscription and has no hidden fees. It's ready to go straight out of the box.In addition to its cameras, the main S4 housing has built-in spotlights, PIR sensor, coloured alarm lights, mic and speaker. The alarm is impressive - its combination of piercingly bright red and blue warning lights and shrill audio siren will scare away all but the most determined (or foolish) would-be burglar.Quality of night-vision footage is impressive thanks to the cam's built-in spotlights and ultra-sensitive sensors.The S4's AI tracking works effectively. Few things deter would-be intruders more than a turret cam tracking their movements does.You can pay for cloud storage if you wish, but I wouldn't recommend doing so. Storing anything in the so-called cloud is not a security boon but a security risk. As every tech-savvy person knows, "There is no cloud - it's just some other guy's computer".I've no significant criticisms of this camera. It's a well-designed, versatile, reliable, user-friendly piece of security equipment that's worth every penny of its £249.00 price tag.
