eufy Smart Display E10

Afew updates to the software would be good to enchance the useibilty. Have it's own time when active and not relie on home / away set on the app. Changing from one camera to the next could be quicker but overall very please with the product, just needs fine tuning the softwear with updates.

Its a Smart Display, basically a tablet and it works. It's a great addition to your existing eufy cameras.

It does what you expect it to do, when someone appears on the cameras, it announces who they are (if you have them recognised already on your homebase) and shows a live feed which is very handy.

Viewing all your videos feeds are nice..

Multiple options available wall, kick stand and a desktop chargined stand.

The software is okay and need improvement.. and the product can be improved itself in the following ways in next iteration.

* Wall mount, USB cal be to the wall mount itself charge display via bottom connector. This is how the charging stand does it, it makes moving between them less of a flaff.. in this version when you unplug from wall, disconnect USB cable required.. and plug in required when returning to wall.. so much easier if the wall mount was like the stand.

* App integration, this is not seen by the app and vice versa..

* arm mode failures.. it doesn't always change first time, but this is the same as the phone app.. so looks like a general issue.

* You general arm/disarm that you use should be on the main display, which you click then type in code.. not type in code and then find the arm feature you want.. both ways should be supported but when locked, having it displayed will make arm/disarm quicker which is one the primary use cases.

* Live feed quality if not that good, it looks better on phone.. perhaps lowe resolutoin of the display.

* more options on the red button.. I want mine to toggle between home/leaving.

* leaving (full arm) should not required pin, this is how most other alarm system works.. you only need it for disarming

The screen is far better than waiting for the app each time you want to view a camera. It also has a lot of information instantly ready such as recaps of events,. You can instantly live view any camera or even several at once, there is an action button which can be set in 4 different ways, do not disturb or sound the alarm. Unfortunately the screen is a little small & would be much better the size of my ipad pro (13.9”) also despite inserting a micro sd card you can not do anything practical with the footage such as share it via email or text, save it in a file so it is safe even. Which in summary makes this a bit of a novelty item, having it on your bedside unit as I have means even on solent it will light up as it detects your movement so I end up turning it off. The live view is useful especially if someone rings your bell because it automatically live streams & you can talk to the visitor, trouble is in the 3 weeks Ive had the screen the stars haven’t aligned whereby someone rings the bell & you are in the vicinity of the screen to utilise it. Please don’t misunderstand me, it is useful and portable so you can place it in any room, but having bought 7 cameras, an 8tb ssd , power lines for 4 cameras and a screen eufy then release a new set with a dvr (2tb) wired better spec cameras and the ability to view on television!! Basically everything we customers have been trying to achieve by buying separate & expensive components. The screen was on offer at £150 & its ok but as stated could/should be bigger and give us options to dhare or save footage.

Found that my phone was much more versatile.
