A good set of solar powered security cameras. These were so simple to install with their well designed mounts. Straightforward to connect to my wifi and the app and the picture is fantastic during the day. Unfortunately the night image is not at all like they say it will be. Quite grainy and difficult to make out clear pictures - it's a similar issue to other cameras so I don't think they should be saying that this gives a perfect picture in low light conditions. The usability is good and they are easy to adjust and rotate. Very pleased that I don't have to wire anything in, and I can add more cameras separately without needing an electrician to help install.

I have been waiting for cameras like these to be released for many years. Finally the wait is over. I bought the Eufy S3 Pro 2 x camera and base unit on their release day for my house. I was that impressed with the cameras, the system, the recordings, the daytime night vision (it really is that good and really works, it’s like magic - they are not set to this out of the box you need to go into settings to enable this mode - there are other nighttime modes to choose from as well) and the solar charging, that I recommended them to two friends (who also bought this system and are as impressed as myself) and I also bought a second 2 x cameras & base unit to install for use at the office. For me the full HomeKit integration with Apple HomeKit AND HomeKit secure video is the reason why I have been waiting so long for something as good and as easy to install as the Eufy S300 Pro. Homekit is not essential for these cameras to work, arguably using the Eufy app is a better experience, but I’m an Apple HomeKit fan. HomeKit compatibility is a rarity and HomeKit secure video is even more a rarity especially with them being outdoor wireless solar charged cameras. Well done Eufy, adding all of these features into your cameras and system is very refreshing and has been the reason why I bought the system. My friends who also bought them (mentioned earlier) do not use them with HomeKit, solely with the Eufy app and they could not be happier. One major selling point is that unlike others, Eufy do not charge monthly subscription fees for their cameras / recordings. If you are looking to buy cameras I would suggest you need to be aware of this. The Eufy cameras are fully featured and available without their software being restricted right out of the box. I previously used Arlo cameras (3 x Arlo ultra) but never liked them. The cameras were ok but their system was terrible. I have taken them down and sold them on. They have been replaced by the Eufy cameras and system. The Eufy ones, not just as cameras but as a whole system are night and day different to Arlo. I felt I was ripped off with Arlo, I didn’t fully understand that my security cameras would effectively be useless unless I paid Arlo a monthly subscription fee. Without paying the fee I could not view the recordings on the Arlo system remotely (away from home) unless I opened up some ports on my router / firewall (that didn’t sound very secure to do), I could also not create action zones (zones where you draw a box around an area where you want to record but not record or send alerts outside of this area), these are major things, essentials even. Arlo are the security cameras that don’t want to give you much security unless you pay them monthly to do so. Eufy has been a great breath of fresh air. These cameras are great and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a home security camera system. The image quality, the recordings, the notifications have been great. Well done Eufy, keep up the good work. It’s great to see you have fully adopted HomeKit and looking forward to more HomeKit devices from you in the future.

The eufycam security camera set is a premium quality camera. You get two outdoor security cameras along with all necessary bits to install. The solar panel is fixed on top of camera as well so you don’t need to install solar panel separately making installation easier. It has got some very good features. It comes with motion detection, 16 GB local storage, night vision, motion detection and is also waterproof. You can also add local storage up to 16TB. You can also customise the detection zone, which is usually only available in some well known branded cameras.Picture quality is really very good at 4K during the day. I struggled little bit with picture quality during night, but that happens with some known brands as well.It is a wireless camera, so there is no hassle of wiring, and can be charged with a solar panel.The App is fairly easy to use and you can control various features like video recording and get motion alerts etc on the camera.Price wise, I think this is at the top end; £499 for a pair of camera. On plus side, you don’t need any costly storage subscription cost which means the price gets offset so it’s not a huge problem from price point.Overall, I am very happy with the features the camera has to offer. Good looking, easy to fit home security solution.The kit comes with everything you need—cameras, mounts and cables. The cameras paired with the hub without any issues and so far have been stable.The daytime video quality is good with sharp, clear images and good colour/contrast. The built-in solar panels on the cameras are great to have so the cameras stay "charged". Nightvision for me isn't perfect, but as we have security lights in the area anyway it's not particularly needed. The full-colour night vision is a nice idea but in reality I think the standard infrared night vision is better and a bit clearerThe Eufy Security app is user-friendly, offering a range of customisable features like motion detection and facial recognition. Local storage is good as you don't need to get stung for a monthly cloud subscription like some companies forget to mention!

eufy Security eufyCam S3 Pro 2-Cam KitThis is an excellent solar-powered security camera kit, as you would expect for the £500 price bracket.The camera units are robust, and quite heavy, which makes me feel secure that the components are good quality.The solar panels are positioned on the tops of the cameras (instead of separate units). For the past week, with the weather mostly raining or overcast, the security cameras have remained powered 24/7. I also installed the backup solar panel, although I'm unsure of what, if anything, the cameras have drawn from this.Setting up is very straightforward. The app is simple to use (downloaded from Google Play) and there are plenty of settings to suit multiple needs.I have replaced a cheaper solar security system (which I was quite happy with), because this version is far better, in terms of overall manufacturing quality, 2x cameras, and superb 4K image quality. I haven't found any issues with quality at night, although I have a lamp post nearby, which might support the night image quality. At the back of the house, where there is less light, I set the camera to infrared, and I am happy with the quality.Also, storing data on the supplied hub is great, with no need for data charge subscriptions. The cameras don't provide continuous recording, they begin when motion is detected.The AI face recognition is a bit temperamental with repeatedly notifying me when my partner comes in and out, etc, but he is often wearing hats, maybe these are affecting the recognition. The camera at the front of my house also picks up my neighbour's car (side on) as they pull into their drive. I can't really position the camera to avoid this, hopefully, the unit will learn in time. It does recognise my car reg without any issues.To be fair, these are minor things, and I am only pointing them out in case they may be a deal breaker for some.The sound is very good, and you can communicate both ways easily.It's very easy to install, with no wires, just fixing into position in the desired location. It needs to be in the wifi range, so check this out before installation.Overall, I am very happy with the build quality, the images are superb, and the data storage unit is ideal for me.

This kit has a lot of bells and whistles (not literally). Lots of extra features I wasn't expecting, like alarms and light you can remotely control. I like it is solar powered so it can be easily placed anywhere, and it comes with an extra solar panel if a camera is under the eaves. I found it quite easy to set up and get working. Bit concerned about how much I had to agree to before the app would work.This advertises itself as wireless which is great, but I am confused as to why the home-hub has to be connected via an ethernet cable, this doesn't make it completely wireless. It's just another thing I have to have near my router, there are enough cables already. It may be that this home-hub can be connected wirelessly and that I just haven't found out how, so I will update if it is possible.The pictures from the cam are nice and clear and you can zoom in 3x. I have got some stickers to tell people they are on cctv, just to cover myself in case of any issues. This is a good kit and I am impressed, if only I could get rid of the ethernet.
