Good clear pics great with the motion, pir and scan does not miss anything, night coverage clear as well. very pleased.

I have been waiting for cameras like these to be released for many years. Finally the wait is over. I bought the Eufy S3 Pro 2 x camera and base unit on their release day for my house. I was that impressed with the cameras, the system, the recordings, the daytime night vision (it really is that good and really works, it’s like magic - they are not set to this out of the box you need to go into settings to enable this mode - there are other nighttime modes to choose from as well) and the solar charging, that I recommended them to two friends (who also bought this system and are as impressed as myself) and I also bought a second 2 x cameras & base unit to install for use at the office. For me the full HomeKit integration with Apple HomeKit AND HomeKit secure video is the reason why I have been waiting so long for something as good and as easy to install as the Eufy S300 Pro. Homekit is not essential for these cameras to work, arguably using the Eufy app is a better experience, but I’m an Apple HomeKit fan. HomeKit compatibility is a rarity and HomeKit secure video is even more a rarity especially with them being outdoor wireless solar charged cameras. Well done Eufy, adding all of these features into your cameras and system is very refreshing and has been the reason why I bought the system. My friends who also bought them (mentioned earlier) do not use them with HomeKit, solely with the Eufy app and they could not be happier. One major selling point is that unlike others, Eufy do not charge monthly subscription fees for their cameras / recordings. If you are looking to buy cameras I would suggest you need to be aware of this. The Eufy cameras are fully featured and available without their software being restricted right out of the box. I previously used Arlo cameras (3 x Arlo ultra) but never liked them. The cameras were ok but their system was terrible. I have taken them down and sold them on. They have been replaced by the Eufy cameras and system. The Eufy ones, not just as cameras but as a whole system are night and day different to Arlo. I felt I was ripped off with Arlo, I didn’t fully understand that my security cameras would effectively be useless unless I paid Arlo a monthly subscription fee. Without paying the fee I could not view the recordings on the Arlo system remotely (away from home) unless I opened up some ports on my router / firewall (that didn’t sound very secure to do), I could also not create action zones (zones where you draw a box around an area where you want to record but not record or send alerts outside of this area), these are major things, essentials even. Arlo are the security cameras that don’t want to give you much security unless you pay them monthly to do so. Eufy has been a great breath of fresh air. These cameras are great and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a home security camera system. The image quality, the recordings, the notifications have been great. Well done Eufy, keep up the good work. It’s great to see you have fully adopted HomeKit and looking forward to more HomeKit devices from you in the future.

eufy Security eufyCam S3 Pro 2-Cam KitThis is an excellent solar-powered security camera kit, as you would expect for the £500 price bracket.The camera units are robust, and quite heavy, which makes me feel secure that the components are good quality.The solar panels are positioned on the tops of the cameras (instead of separate units). For the past week, with the weather mostly raining or overcast, the security cameras have remained powered 24/7. I also installed the backup solar panel, although I'm unsure of what, if anything, the cameras have drawn from this.Setting up is very straightforward. The app is simple to use (downloaded from Google Play) and there are plenty of settings to suit multiple needs.I have replaced a cheaper solar security system (which I was quite happy with), because this version is far better, in terms of overall manufacturing quality, 2x cameras, and superb 4K image quality. I haven't found any issues with quality at night, although I have a lamp post nearby, which might support the night image quality. At the back of the house, where there is less light, I set the camera to infrared, and I am happy with the quality.Also, storing data on the supplied hub is great, with no need for data charge subscriptions. The cameras don't provide continuous recording, they begin when motion is detected.The AI face recognition is a bit temperamental with repeatedly notifying me when my partner comes in and out, etc, but he is often wearing hats, maybe these are affecting the recognition. The camera at the front of my house also picks up my neighbour's car (side on) as they pull into their drive. I can't really position the camera to avoid this, hopefully, the unit will learn in time. It does recognise my car reg without any issues.To be fair, these are minor things, and I am only pointing them out in case they may be a deal breaker for some.The sound is very good, and you can communicate both ways easily.It's very easy to install, with no wires, just fixing into position in the desired location. It needs to be in the wifi range, so check this out before installation.Overall, I am very happy with the build quality, the images are superb, and the data storage unit is ideal for me.

Right away I am going to say categorically these cameras are incredible, I am totally blown away by their quality and performance. I'll almost certainly be replacing more of our existing system with these moving forwards.this 2 cam kit comes with 2 cameras (surprise!), a homebase s380 base unit, mounting kits for the cameras, I was also surprised to see that it includes a backup solar panel for one of the cameras so they can be mounted in the shade such as under an eave. mounting hardware is provided for the panel too.mounting the cameras was incredibly easy. it took me longer to dig my stepladder out than it did to put them up. 6mm drill bit for the wall plugs if going into masonry or a smaller drill bit (3.5mm) for a pilot hole if screwing into wood. one mounted the brackets hold firm but the angle mount point is a little difficult to get rock solid but so far the cameras haven't moved at all and there's no sign of shaking in the wind when i check the feeds.setup of the system was also very straightforward, I recommend setting up a eufy account ahead of time so you can log straight into the app and not have to mess around verifying emails and such. otherwise the app was very simple to use to set things up and everything connected first time with no issues.as the physical product stands I could not be happier. the cameras are packed with advanced features that put our existing security setup to shame in both quality and functionality. the daylight mode for low light is practically witchcraft as far as i'm concerned and it's easy to think you're looking at footage from the daytime when you pull up the cameras at night.where things get less perfect is some of the shortcomings in the app, while i found it easy to use and set things up after a little use I wanted to make some tweaks to things like what notifications i receive and when only to find they are very rigidly set and you basically have to be bombarded with all of them all of the time or you have to turn off the ones you only ways to receive at certain times entirely. the support forums have requests for the functionality going back years which is very simple to implement and the most obvious use case i think most people using the systems would want in high traffic areas like the front and read of their house.the other major bugbear is the screen to setup activity zones. i don't think i could design a more infuriating interface if i tried. it's impossible to get the drag handles on the zone outline to register your finger touch and if you try to move them without it highlighting it it just drags the whole box and if the sides hit the edge of the camera view it shrinks the box so it takes minutes and minutes to try to get the coverage to the edges of the screens as it messes them up every time you move your finger. awful design.i won't drop my score for these annoyances though as they are not limited to this camera set and can easily be fixed in a software update. i dont think it would discourage me from buying into this system again if i had to but it does lessen the overall experience a little for me.would i recommend this camera set still? 100%. still the best security product i've used.

This home security kit by Eufy is absolutely brilliant, I wanted to not pay subscriptions, have very good quality cameras, be able to recall moments in time, and not have to wire the camera in. This kit was the answer to my wants.The kit feels very premium, packaging is brilliant and layed out very well in the box. Everything needed to get up and started is included. The solar panels ontop of the camera are large and do great at capturing the sun light.The app is simply Fantastic, it's very user friendly and works well from set up to day to day use.The day time quality is very clear and crisp, the face recognition is good, I found not always perfect due to angle of looking at the camera speed going past ect. But very good.I didn't find the low light full colour too effective, however I didn't expect it to be if I was honest as that is some serious money for this to work well. In infrared I was really impressed with the night vision.

I already have two Eufy battery powered cameras for outdoor use, so know how good their kit is.The previous cameras had separate solar panels to keep the integral battery charged, but these had solar panels built in to their tops. An additional bonus is that the cameras come with Homebase 3. Adding the existing cameras to the Homebase 3 was a piece of cake using the Eufy security app that can be used for Apple or Android. Adding the new cameras was just as easy.The Homebase 3 also allows for the addition of an internal storage device, so I added a 2.5-inch hard disk drive. I think a USB stick can be plugged in the back to easily transfer data and (possibly?) give even more storage, but I have not tried that yet.The kit comes with all the mounts, cables and screws that are required to get it working.The biggest attraction is that a cloud storage service is not required, so there is no additional outlay, I have found that time to display recorded clips is really fast compared to another company I could name.The quality of the video is incredible, with excellent definition and true-to-life colour — even at night.I have had one problem with one of the cameras in that there is a pink (magenta?) cast over the image. I contacted the manufacturer, and they responded within an acceptable time frame of a few hours. They required some further information, that was easy to provide, and think they know what is causing the problem. I feel the outcome will be positive but, if not, will update this review.

Ok lets start, it came packaged beautifully, you get 2 cameras, all the wires you could need (including network cable) you get the hub, and you get an extra solar panel incase one of the cameras built in panels is covered. Mounting options everything. Setup is a breeze, it guides you clearly as soon as you download the app. Cameras i had to pair twice though for them to appear, they do some kind of strange whistling sound to the hub and it answers then registers, its quite bizarre!The camera quality is amazing, even at night, the detection is beautiful and even has face recognition. Having tried and messed around with the multitude of settings, i can quite esily say this is the best setup ive ever had. Its seamless. AND no subscription required and you can expand the hub with an extra drive!! Sooooooooooooooo good! Would 100% recommend them!
